Urgent Care Clinic Procedures
What We Expect from Our Patients At Quick Care Clinic, we expect our patients to take charge of their own medical care by keeping records of previous health care visits. For example, with allergies, you should record the date of your visit and the medications prescribed. We expect patients to be responsible for their own care by keeping up to date on their health screening recommendations, such as physicals, immunizations, and prostate, breast, or pelvic exams. If you are sent out for radiological procedures or lab testing, you are responsible for being seen for follow up at the clinic for those results. |
 | Staying Up-to-Date We are happy to serve as a stop-gap measure for those who are in between health care providers due to unforeseen circumstances; however, as the patient you are responsible for your own health care maintenance. This means you need to know when screening tests and services are needed as recommended by current health care standards for your age/sex and request such procedures. If you are uncertain as to the current recommendations, we are happy to provide you with a booklet that lists current recommendations and answer any questions you may have. We Do Not Do Any Insurance Billing or Labor & Industry Claims We Do Not Take the Place of Your Family Practice Provider We Do Not Treat Emergencies Such as Trauma or Severe Injury We Do Not Prescribe Controlled Substances, Such as Narcotics

How This Is Accomplished As the patient, you are required to check yourself in when you arrive, place your form on the wall, and wait to be seen. You are then called by the same health care provider that examines you, eliminating the need for extra staff. We do not bill insurance companies, though we are happy to provide you with a receipt so that you may submit the information to your insurance company. We find that the co-pays of many insurance companies for office visits are similar to our total cost of a visit, often making this process unnecessary for the patient. Payment is required at the time of service via check, cash, or VISA. This again eliminates the need for extra staff and allows you to receive affordable health care. |
